Description
[Whence He Came] is a Hong Kong Alternative Rock Band formed in 1999 by Joshua Wong and guitarist Ephraim Bano. The band had a mix of members from international ethnic backgrounds including China, Malaysia, Australia, the Philippines, Japan and the United States.
The only consistent members are Joshua and Ephraim released two albums “Still Amidst The Traffic” and “The Shorter Story” in 2001 and 2004 respectively.
INFREE RECORDS has stocked limited quantity their amazing album “The Shorter Story” courtesy of Rocky Shum (WELLSAID) who mention that Joshua gave these to him to sell but it has been sitting in Rocky’s studio during these challenging years.
Joshua Wong, the lead singer of the local classic band Whence He Came, passed away on December 25, 2020.
